Rob Greenlee, host of Web Talk, speaks with Kurt Huang, founder and vice-president of products at BitPass.com. He talks about what BitPass does and how it works. Kurt discusses in detail his coming new service called "BitPass Unplugged", set for release in the 4th quarter of 2005, that will allow all interested podcasters to create new or increase existing revenue from podcast content.

BitPass UnPlugged will leverage the loyalty of listeners who prefer to download music, audio blogs, radio shows and other audio content, and have it transferred automatically to portable media devices. Kurt also explains how this new service will work inside RSS feeds and will enable media file sampling before payment. Kurt also explains how BitPass will become a marketplace for transaction-based online content.

Kurt Huang, founder and vice-president of products for BitPass.com, is the architect of the company's micropayment technology. Prior to founding BitPass, Kurt was a doctoral candidate in BioMedical Informatics at Stanford University where he conducted research in artificial intelligence. Kurt holds an AB in computer science from Harvard College and an MD from Stanford University. He has been named to the 2004 list of the world's 100 Top Young Innovators by MIT's Technology Review magazine.
