'The PDA market is not dead!' shouts Stephane Maes. Of course, he has a reason. Media is getting much more compact and portable in today's world. iPods and PSPs are taking over the world. Where are the PDAs in this rush, you might ask? The PDAs are just getting started. They're already able to check e-mail, access the Internet, watch videos, listen to music, oraganize one's life, and even view hundreds and hundreds of photos from an SD card, placed in a digital camera.

Host Larry Magid speaks to Stephane Maes, Director of Product Management for Handhelds at palmOne about everything from the Apple Newton to watching DVDs on your PDA/handheld, which seems to be the next thing to come -- well, to improve. The idea Stephane mentions is Hollywood 'doing' movies on SD-cards. This doesn't seem that bad. Rent an SD, watch it on your flight to Tokyo, and return it. As simple as that.

Stephane also talks about the LifeDrive mobile manager from palmOne, their latest product. The LifeDrive enables several possibilities, including everything mentioned above. If you're into gadgets and handhelds and smartphones and PDAs and....the list goes on, this interview is for you.
