It seems that in today's world, it's a simple battle between Hollywood and the Internet. There are just so many laws, rules and regulations that it's hard to find a person these days who hasn't accidentally, or unknowingly broken a couple of these. But why do they exist? Why is Hollywood strictly against the remix generation? Heck, why can't people simply blog about 'that scene from Shrek' and post a 50 second clip on it without breaking the law?

JD Lasica, renowned author of 'Darknet: Hollywood's War Against the Digital Generation' (see below) and co-founder of OurMedia.org speaks to host Denise Howell about his experience in writing the book, what Hollywood is really against, and what he's doing with OurMedia.org to expand the remix culture. You'll enjoy this interview just as much as the book.
