As the enterprise middleware space migrates to Service Oriented Architectures (SOA), Thomas Kurian, VP of development for Oracle's middleware products, is happy to announce that they have brought their 'A' game, and that they are ready to play. Shedding light on Oracle's new Fusion Architecture, Kurian explains how recent acquisitions and newly developed technologies combine to create a unified middleware suite.

Fusion Architecture constitutes the unification of three important architectural trends. First, the rise of grid computing, both at the processor level and at the storage level, using inexpensive hardware. Second, the explosion of data acquisition and the difficulty trying to extract useful information from the huge mass of data. Third, making business processes more flexible by using Service Oriented Architecture.

In his keynote address to the Software2006 conference, held Tuesday, April 4, 2006 in Santa Clara, CA, Kurian describes how Oracle's Fusion Architecture incorporates all of these trends and delivers a comprehensive and unified platform to new and existing customers.
